Tammin Julian Lee = musical direction -piano

Tammin Julian Lee, born in Berlin, studied conducting with Prof. Lutz Köhler at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2001 to 2007. He has been teaching there since 2007. From 2005 to 2007 he was pianist and musical director of the mehrklangorchester berlin. Since 2007 he has been working regularly with the soloist ensemble Kaleidoskop.

Joint concert tours have taken them to Belgium and Iceland, the Netherlands and Switzerland. In 2011 they jointly premiered the music theater "Die Jaffa-Orangen des Richard W. - Ein Israelisches Rheingold" by Georg Nussbaumer in Berlin. Guest performances at the Theater Chur and the Operadagen Rotterdam followed. Their joint CD "Hello, I'm Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop" was released in 2014. In 2010 he took over the musical direction of Tannhäuser for the Bayreuth Festival as children's opera for the series "Bayreuth for Children".

From 2014 to 2016 he was organist in the dance-theatre production BACH/PASSION/JOHANNES by the French director and choreographer Laurent Chetouane, based on Johann Sebastian Bach's St. John Passion, at venues in Germany, Austria, Belgium and France. Tammin Julian Lee has worked with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra Wernigerode, the Ensemble Klangexekutive, the Landesjugendorchester Nordrhein-Westfalen and the Orchestra of the Julius-Stern-Institute, among others, and has given song recitals in Berlin, Hamburg, Lübeck, Hildesheim and Munich.

Ruth Asralda -Director

Ruth Asralda first studied musicology at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz. During this time she directed "Bastien und Bastienne" and "La Serva Padrona" for children at the Literaturhaus Graz.

In 2012 she went to Basel to study music theater directing with Georges Delnon at the Basel Music Academy. She completed her studies there with her production of "Dido ohne Aeneas", a music theater project in cooperation with the Basel University of Music and Theater Basel. Since 2015 she has been studying directing at the Hanns-Eisler Academy of Music. During her studies she directed "A Quarell", her own play about the artist couple Anna Mendieta and Carl Andre, as well as scene extracts from "Hamlet", "Der Rosenkavalier", "Il Mondo della Luna", "La Périchole" and "Die Fledermaus".

At the Bayreuth Festival she took over the production dramaturgy of "The Ring of the Nibelung for Children", directed by David Merz. She gained practical experience as assistant director at the Bonn Theater, the Schwetzinger Festival, the Salzburg Easter Festival, the Semperoper Dresden and the Bayreuth Festival. She assisted the directors Florian Lutz, Georges Delnon, Michael Sturminger, Manfred Weiss, Georg Schmiedleitner, Wouter van Loy, Katharina Wagner and Barrie Kosky. Since the singer had an accident at the premiere, she took over the scenic role of Scintilla in the following performances of Bruno Maderna's chamber opera "Satyricon" at the Salzburg Easter Festival. Since the 2019/2020 season Ruth Asralda has been assistant director and evening director at the Komische Oper Berlin.

Wiebke Bachmann -Stage

Wiebke Bachmann, scenographer and freelance visual artist, studied "Scenography" with Michael Simon at the HfG-Karlsruhe, "Art Espace", with Elisabeth Ballet, at the Ensad Paris as well as "free fine arts" with Simon Starling at the Städelschule Frankfurt /Main.

She was master student of Simon Starling and scholarship holder, among others of the BavarianMinistry of State for Science, Research and Art.After several years of working as a freelance visual artist, Wiebke Bachmann back to the theater. Most recently she designed the stage set for the production Antigone at the Berliner Ensemble

Sophie Schliemann -Costumes

Sophie Schliemann is a trained seamstress and is about to complete her studies in clothing technology.

She led various workshops, among others on the subject of upcycling. In addition to her own shirt designs, she has been working in costume design since 2016 and loves to use unconventional materials. She gained experience at the Staatsoper Berlin, the Berliner Ensemble and in various off-productions. Most recently she created the costume design for the opera festival "Berlin is not Bregenz".

Marine Madelin -Soprano

The Franco-German Marine Madelin is the oldest of four musical siblings. She came into contact with music and dance as a child when she lived with her family above a music school. So she first started playing the piano and the recorder and also discovered ballet.

Her enthusiasm for singing led her to the Parisian Music High School, where she discovered her passion for the stage in the choir (La Maîtrise de Paris). After the baccalauréat, the soprano begins her professional training at the Musikhochschule in Freiburg, where she has her first performances as a soloist. Since 2014 she has been studying singing at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. In the summer of 2018 she completed her Bachelor's degree with Prof. Anna Korondi and now continues her Master's studies with Prof. Christine Schäfer. Marine Madelin has appeared on international stages with various constellations. In Berlin, she co-founded the ensemble Callìope, consisting of a baroque harp, a theorbo and baroque guitar. In a duo with her sister Cécile, also a soprano, she can be heard on stages in Germany and France with music of the Renaissance, the Baroque and the Romantic Lied.

The sisters performed a concert with Emmanuelle Haïm at the Festival jeunes talents in Paris and sang the opening concert of the Rencontres Musicales et Scientifiques in Avignon. She has appeared as Euridice and La Musica in Monteverdi's Orfeo and as Suzanna in Mozart's Nozze di Figaro at the Festival de St Felix en Lauragais and in Freiburg, and can be seen in the production Wolfskinder at the Neuköllner Opera. She attended master classes with Sarah Maria Sun, Margeet Honig, Janet Williams and Emma Kirkby, among others. Since 2016 she is a scholarship holder of the Förderverein Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now and the Germany Scholarship.

Katharina Quast -Soprano

Katharina Quast, Soprano, born 1998 in Nienaburg an der Weser, is currently studying Singing/Musical Theater with Prof. York in Berlin. She gained her first stage experiences in the casting of two leading roles in "Oliver Twist" and the world premiere of "Schmetterlingswerkstatt" (Christoph Hagel).

She was a finalist in the national competition Jugend Musiziert and won first place in the Laupheim Music Competition. She wrote lyrics for the production "Chance to Dance" of the Ulmer Theater and took one of the two leading roles. After graduating from high school she studied as a young student at the Mozarteum Salzburg with Prof. Tesaker and sang the soprano part in Mozart's Vesperae Solennes KV 339 in Ulm. She studied the first two years of her bachelor's degree with Prof. Kaufmann. During this time she played the pastor in "Hauser" at the bat Studiotheater Berlin (Carolina Cesconetto) and sang one of the soprano roles in "the cold trip" at the Freiraum Berlin (Ruth Asralda). Since 2019 she has been composing commissioned works for exhibitions of fine arts and mixed media installations. As part of this, she recorded a CD with artists from Ulm in 2019.

On the occasion of the Beethoven Year, she performed a house concert with Sandra Leupold on arte. In 2020, a working scholarship took her to the artists' town of Kalbe to compose and make a film which she directed. 2021 she will make her debut as Blonde in Mozart's "Entführung aus dem Serail" and sing with "the cold trip" at festivals for contemporary music in Bolivia

Antonia Schuchardt -Soprano

Antonia Schuchardt was born and grew up in Mannheim and is now in her seventh semester of singing studies with Prof. Carola Höhn at the UdK Berlin.

In the 2013/2014 season she made her debut at the Nationaltheater Mannheim in the role of "Flora" in Benjamin Britten's opera "The Turn of the Screw" and was also part of the world premiere of "Alpha&Omega" together with the ballet company Kevin O'Day.

She attended master classes with Prof. Stefanie Krahnenfeld and Sabine Goetz, won several national prizes in the competition "Jugend musiziert", came to the Musikhochschule Lübeck, to the Deutsche Oper am Rhein as well as to numerous concerts in the Rhein-Neckar region, where she appeared on SWR2.

In summer 2019 she made her debut in various roles in the production "An allem ist Hütchen Schuld!", composed by Siegfried Wagner, at the Margravial Opera House in Bayreuth. Immediately afterwards, work on several operetta roles led her to a concert gala in Karlovy Vary - Czech Republic and Frankfurt am Main.

In her young career she worked with such personalities as Joe Trafton, Alois Seidlmeier, Dan Ettinger, Axel Kober, John King, Kevin O'Day, Janice Dixon and Frank Hilbrich.

Hannes Baier -Sound Engineer

Hannes Baier, 24 years old, studies sound engineer in the 7th semester at the University of the Arts Berlin with main instrument saxophone. Before that he completed his training as choir director at the Berufsfachschule für Musik Dinkelsbühl. Besides freelance work for Pegasus Musikproduktion and MTV Unplugged, among others, he has been working as a student trainee for Deutschlandfunk Kultur since 2019.

Dieter Edler - Camera

Hans-Dieter Edler, born in Graz in 1984, studied art history and German language and literature at the Karl Franzens University in Graz after graduating from the College for Fine Art Photography and Multimedia Art. He also studied Theater, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna.

In 2013 he completed his art history studies with his diploma thesis "Dramaturgical analysis and aesthetic characteristics of the independent film movement using examples from the Sundance Film Festival". Since 2006 Edler has been working as director, screenwriter, editor and visual artist. In addition, he completed relevant courses in screenwriting, directing and film editing, including the master class "The Director's Journey" by Mark W. Travis and editing courses by Niki Mossböck, and worked as an assistant director at the Schauspielhaus Graz. His photographs and film projects have been presented and awarded at various exhibitions and international film festivals. In 2012 he co-founded the film production company Evil Frog. In 2018 he curated the Styrian part of the Architecture Days together with Martin Grabner.

Antoscha Haensch -Camera

Antoscha Haensch is a film student from Berlin. She has taken courses at SAE for the Digital Film Production Diploma and will soon be studying Film Studies at the Free University of Berlin.

Since her childhood she has been a passionate filmmaker and has participated in numerous young filmmakers' competitions, such as the "Lichtspiele Festival" (2nd prize) and the "John-Lennon-Gymnasium-Filmfest" (1st prize). Most recently, she realized online films for the HBS Berlin and the BSR, which were needed as a substitute for presence events during Corona. In addition, she is gaining experience in student sets and in realizing her own film and photo projects.

Ludwig Schulz -Camera

Ludwig Schulz is a passionate filmmaker and sees his future as a cameraman. His technical enthusiasm developed early on and he has been involved as a lighting technician in theaters for several years. Currently he is still in training at a film school. At the same time he is working on various productions, for example music videos, short films, documentaries and his own experimental films.

Phillip Heise & Leonhard Betram -Technical support

Phillip Heise, sound engineer at StudierendenWERK Berlin, is currently studying Protestant religious education and organizes and accompanies events in many different ways. Among other things as a drum teacher, sound engineer and member of the parish church council he is involved in various areas and is a leading member of the youth artists' stage "Die Open Stage e.V." https://www.dieopenstage.de/

Leonard Bertram has worked as a filmmaker and event technician since his school days. Besides concerts and scenic performances, he also supervises installations and video projects with camera, lighting and sound technology. He is currently studying electrical engineering at the Technical University of Berlin. He also regularly gives film and event technology workshops and runs the youth artist stage "Die Open Stage e.V." www.phinifilms.de
