How to write an outline

(Re-)discovering the golden thread

A logical structure is an essential aspect of any successful academic text. Especially if you are new to writing seminar papers or a thesis, you may wonder what you are expected to include in an outline, and how the elements can be categorized and connected. In this workshop, you will receive instruction and time for creating or revising your own outline. The aim is to tailor the basic requirements of a classic structure to suit your own paper. To make the most out of this workshop, have a pen, paper and research question ready.
