AI text generators raise hopes of quick and efficient solutions to writer's block, time pressure and uncertainties in academic style. But how convincing and helpful are ChatGPT, DeepL & co. really?

In this workshop, you will learn what AI writing tools actually are, what they can (not) do according to the current state of the art and what possibilities and limitations are associated with them. You will then be able to make an informed decision for your own writing project.
