Deadlines for university applications
On this page you will find important deadlines for university applications, language courses and preparatory courses.
Before you apply, please check the website of your chosen university in good time to see if you belong to a special group of students or if you would like to study a degree programme for which other deadlines or application procedures apply.
The application deadline often is July 15th if the course starts during the winter semester.
The application deadline often is January 15th if the course starts during the summer semester.
However, more and more universities are setting earlier deadlines, for example for a Master's programme or Studienkolleg.
You can find out the exact deadlines for your chosen degree programme directly from the university of your choice.
Send your documents and pay the processing fees at least 8 weeks before the deadline.
