Intercultural Writing Group TextTransit

Write for one semester under the guidance of an author. Applications can be submitted until 5 April.

In the “TextTransit” writing group, students work on their texts over the course of a semester under the guidance of an author. The teacher for the summer semester is yet to be announced. Texts of any literary genre can be submitted. Students of all disciplines can also apply. TextTransit is an intercultural project. This means that the group is aimed at writing students who deal with intercultural topics or who speak and write other languages. It is up to the group teacher to decide which focus to set and which languages to work with in the course. German or English is usually chosen as the spoken language during the course.

The aim of the group is to improve one's own literary writing through continuous work on the texts over the course of a semester. Equally important is the critical exchange between the group participants and the collaboration: at the end of the semester, a literary event or joint reading is to be developed from the group.

We look forward to receiving your application by 5 April 2025 until 11:59 pm. You can apply using the application form below, taking into account the conditions of participation. The leader of the writing group will select the texts and then inform the selected participants by mid-April.
