FULLY BOOKED: Course: Unität–Choir

The idea of Chor Unität: The studierendenWERK BERLIN brings together students from all Berlin universities to sing polyphonic pop music under the musical direction of Johanna Brüll. Every student or employee of the studierendenWERK is welcome to join Unität. Choir experience is welcome, but not essential. The repertoire includes a wide range of arrangements of well-known classics to indie-pop songs. In preparation for the choir concert at the end of the semester, there will be a choir trip and a rehearsal day in Berlin on a Saturday in the second half of the semester (see below).

The choir concert will take place at the end of the semester (see below). If you would like to sing in the concert, regular attendance at rehearsals is mandatory. Feel free to sign up for one of the six following voice groups: Soprano, Mezzo, Alto, Tenor, Bass and "I don't know my voice group yet" (click on the eveeno link below).

• Course Times: Weekly on Wednesdays from 16 October 2024 til 12 February 2025 from 6.30 - 9.00 pm.
• First two rehearsals start at 6 pm.
• No course on: 25 December 2024 and 01 January 2025
• Choir Trip: Place and date will be announced during the rehearsals. Participation voluntary.
• Rehersal Day: 18 January 2025 11 AM til 5:30 PM
• Saturday rehearsal day: Place and date will be announced during the rehearsals. Participation voluntary.
• Choir concert: Saturday, 15 February 2025 in Berlin.

• Accessibility: The Freiraum is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us before the course (kultur@stw.berlin), so we can show you the elevator and unlock the back entrance of the Freiraum.

Registration: Only people who registered and people who are on the waiting list can join the first rehearsal. The remainder of the course may only be attended by students who booked the course on eveeno.
