Open Course: Life Drawing

Please note the updated and later appointment for the first session on 28 April 2025!

Here you will have the opportunity to sharpen your eye for the countless facets of the human body and improve your skills in drawing anatomy and proportions. In the atmospheric free space, you can make your first attempts or deepen and expand your skills. Artistic director Katharina Reinsbach will always be on hand to answer your questions and provide comments.

No registration is necessary for the course. Just drop by the Freiraum and learn and draw in a creative atmosphere.

Information on the course:

• Instructor: Katharina Reinsbach
• Duration and date: weekly on Mondays from 28 April 2025 til 14 July 2025 from 4 pm til 6 pm.
• No course on: 21 April 2025 and 09 June 2025.
• Participation free of charge.
• No registration necessary.
• The number of places is limited so that all course participants can see the nude models (arrival at 15:45 recommended).
• Please bring a certificate of enrolment and your own drawing materials!
• By participating in this course you agree to our conditions of participation.
• Participation in the course is only possible for students from our partner universities.
• Accessibility for guests and performers: If you are coming to the event in a wheelchair or have limited mobility, please send an email to kultur@stw.berlin before the event or call us at +49 171 7936994. Access is not always barrier-free, as our elevator unfortunately breaks down regularly. If the elevator is working, performers in wheelchairs can use our barrier-free stage.
• Exhibition: At the end of the semester (date to be accounced) you can exhibit your works from the course with us in the Kunstraum Potsdamer Straße (voluntarily, of course!)
