Open Course: Life Drawing

Here you will have the opportunity to sharpen your eye for the countless facets of the human body and improve your skills in drawing anatomy and proportions. In the atmospheric free space, you can make your first attempts or deepen and expand your skills. Artistic director Paula Schwabe will always be on hand to answer your questions and provide comments.

No registration is necessary for the course. Just drop by the Freiraum and learn and draw in a creative atmosphere.

Information on the course:

• Instructor: Paula Schwabe
• Duration and date: weekly on Mondays from 14 Oct 2024 til 10 Feb 2025 from 16:00 to 18:00
• On the following dates the course will not take place: 23 Dec 2024 and 30 Dec 2024
• Participation free of charge.
• No registration necessary.
• The number of places is limited to 30 so that all course participants can see the nude models (arrival at 15:45 recommended).
• Please bring a certificate of enrolment and your own drawing materials!
• By participating in this course you agree to our conditions of participation.
• Participation in the course is only possible for students from our partner universities.
• Accessibility: The Freiraum is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us before the course (kultur@stw.berlin), so we can show you the elevator and unlock the back entrance of the Freiraum.
• Exhibition: At the end of the semester (date to be accounced) you can exhibit your works from the course with us in the Kunstraum Potsdamer Straße (voluntarily, of course!)
