ZZ ALT Musical Workshop
You love singing, dancing and acting and want to star in an on-stage performance? Then dive into the world of musicals with our course! The course will take place on Saturday, Jan. 28, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 29, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
This musical workshop is designed to both enhance the skills of musical theater students, but also help those who are just beginning to discover their passion and talent in the genre. Immersing yourself in the world of musicals will foster confidence and you will be able to develop new skills.
Your work will be guided by experienced professionals in the field, a New York director/choreographer, and a musical director/musician based in Berlin. You will thus learn musical techniques from the perspective of an actor, singer and dancer.
In order to form a strong ensemble, individual physical and vocal training is important as well as group cooperation and team building. A special focus will be on the following elements, among others:
- Analysis of song lyrics and how the music influences the interpretation of the lyrics.
- Acting techniques for songs
- Physical warm-ups in song and dance
- Broadway dance styles
- Technical vocabulary
- Vocal study, including stylistic approaches
- Techniques for working on monologues and developing scenes
- Audition techniques
Join us for some fun on stage!
The workshop is booked out.
