CultureTrip: A Decolonial City Tour
The Legacy of Black and Queer Feminists: A Decolonial City Tour
Join us on a fascinating journey through the legacy of Black and queer feminists in Germany, the USA and Africa. Discover with us the world of intersectional feminism and how visionary activists such as May Ayim, Audre Lorde and Ika Hügel-Marshall shaped the human rights movement. Find out how their stories and their commitment to inclusion and equality still influence society today.
The city tour takes you through the Schöneberg district, where you will learn more about these important personalities and their influences. Please remember to wear comfortable shoes and, depending on the weather, bring an umbrella or sun protection. It is also advisable to have a hot drink in a thermos flask or a refreshing drink with you.
Registration opens on 28.01.2025
