The Franco-German jury consists of representatives of the Cnous, the DSW and the financial funding organisation DFJW. If possible, former award winners and artists or photographers are also included. The jury selects the exhibited works and the award winners based on the following criteria:
- Relevance of the photographic work to the topic
- Creative approach to the topic
- Overcoming clichés, ingrained ways of thinking and prejudices
- Technical quality of the photo
The winners of the competition and other photos for the exhibition will be selected at the end of May 2025.
Results of the jury meeting will be announced in June 2025.
The travelling exhibition and the digital exhibition with the best photos of the competition (max. 25 photos) will be presented in the StudierendenWERKe in Germany and the Crous in France.
- The photo competition is open to all students of legal age enrolled at a German or French university, regardless of their origin or nationality.
- Digital black and white and colour photos in JPG format (*.jpg) with a minimum resolution of 2362px X 3544px and a size of min. 3 MB and max. 6 MB can be submitted.
- Only self-taken photos are permitted → AI-generated photos are excluded from participation
- The quality of the image material should be sufficient for the exhibition (print format 30x40 cm)
- The images may not contain any inscriptions, graphics, stamps, watermarks, names or similar, nor may they contain any borders.
- Photo collages are excluded from participation
- Only one photo per participant may be submitted.
