3-day workshop with Leonard Bertram
The two-part film workshop is aimed at anyone interested in learning the basics of film production, from shooting planning to film technology, shooting sequences and post-production. The result of the entire workshop is a short video project created by the participant or in a group. The first part focuses on ‘shooting’ and forms the basis for your own project. The following topics will be covered using an introduction, exercises and lots of practical work:
- Topics such as script & story, camera, light & sound, process and role allocation of a film shoot
- Developing a script, shooting schedule, storyboard and shot list
- Setting up the scenery, preparing the participants, camera and sound
- Your own video shoot
Please bring your own camera or mobile phone for filming, as well as a laptop or similar for editing!
- Date: Friday, 28 February - Sunday, 02 March 2025, 10 - 4:30 pm each day
- Location: FREIRAUM in the student house
- We recommend attending the second workshop on ‘Postproduction’ afterwards, in which the material captured here will be edited.
The event is unfortunately only accessible via a staircase at the moment; there is no elevator access.
A binding registration for the course is only possible for students of our partner universities.
