Have you always wanted to learn about self-defence strategies and techniques but haven't found a safe space? We offer you exactly that in a workshop that takes place in English.
How do I stand and move safely? What do I need to consider in dangerous/anxious situations in terms of how I perceive my surroundings? What role does my ability to react play? How do I behave as an eyewitness in threatening situations?
In the self-defence workshop, the focus is on getting to know your own strength and ability to defend yourself and tackling the fear of typical confrontational situations together. You will also learn to assess your own limits and set your own pace. The course covers selected basics from the field of martial arts and self-defence.
Come to our FLINTA* self-defence workshop with trainers Franziska and Valerie!

About the event series: FLINTA* stands for women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people - in other words, for all those who are discriminated against because of their gender identity. Find out more here. With the FLINTA* empowerment series, we want to offer a place of exchange and a safer space. All people who feel they belong are welcome! It is also important for us to point out that you can't tell anyone's gender by looking at them. We particularly encourage TIN people to take part in our events or to lead them as speakers.
We work in a trauma-sensitive way and from a positioned perspective - in other words, we share our (previous) knowledge, are aware of our own (non-)experiences and try to create an empowering space in which each individual person can deal with the issue of violence/boundary crossing(s) at their own pace and in their own way.
