FLINTA* DJ Workshop

Would you like to share your music with others and step behind the decks in clubs? This workshop is aimed at FLINTA* individuals and is designed to give you the confidence to take the step behind the DJ booth.

Ameera, better known as JAMera, has been DJing since she was 18 – from breakbeats to house to UK bass. Now, she wants to share her passion and experience with you! In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of DJing – using a USB stick (no vinyl) – specifically for electronic music. However, the basics are also applicable to other genres like hip hop or disco. Topics covered include mixing, transitions, proper technique, beatmatching, and the preparation and follow-up of a set. You'll receive a comprehensive package that will allow you to jump straight into the DJ life.

Please note that the workshop will take place on two consecutive dates: April 5, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM, and April 12, 2025, also from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
