FULLY BOOKED: Flirting without "macho behaviour"? A how to for flirting.

We want to talk to you in English about flirting. How do we flirt and with whom? Why do we flirt at all? And how can we do it consensually and without overstepping boundaries or stupid posturing?

For many, talking about flirting is cringe - that is, embarrassing, cheesy, and something you don't do. But why is it like that? And how can we flirt without (unintentionally) crossing others' boundaries? How can we become more sensitive to subtle signs of discomfort or interest? How to have fun flirting and take the pressure off?

In our flirting workshop, we'll gather experiences together, question old concepts and - if you want - try out new ones. Together we'll explore what alternative, consensual, queer and anti-patriarchal flirting can look and feel like.

Sound fun and interesting? Then come along and learn something!

 The event is fully booked.

Lena Ellenberger (she) and Sina Pollmann (genderqueer) have been involved in the "Mit Sicherheit verliebt" project for several years, providing sex education in schools and giving workshops. Len is the author of the sex education book "Mit Sicherheit verliebt." She writes, works, and researches on queer and feminist issues, with a particular interest in the intersections of gynecology, sexual medicine, and self-determination. Sina is a research associate at the Institute for Sexual Science and Sexual Medicine at Charité Berlin. Sina is studying psychology at the University of Potsdam and works as a prospective sex therapist with clients and couples on sexual and (trans*)gender well-being.

Feminism and queerness also play an important role for Len and Sina in their private lives. What drives them is the question of why people are not treated equally in our society and how we can expose and change this unequal treatment and discrimination. Len and Sina think that every single person can do their part. And that starts with flirting.
