Course: Improvisational Theatre in English

In this course we will practice the basics of improvised theatre in English. Inspired by auidence/ participants suggestions or acting exercises, we will create shorter scenes and longer montages. Learn to speak more confidently and trust your instincts. Explore the unique story that you have to tell and start to shut up that inner critic that keeps you from being your most vibrant self! We’ll practice and grow together as an ensemble and we'll create a fun show at the at the end of the semester at the Freiraum of the Studierendenwerk.

• Artistic direction: Paul Schmidt 
• The course takes place on Fridays, from 18 October 2024 til 14 February 2025 from 2:15 till 3:45 pm.
• There will be additoinal, voluntary rehearsals for the improv show during the semester break. Date and time t.b.a.
• No course on: 20 December and 27 December 2024.
• Open to all levels of improv/acting experience.
