Balloon Museum

FULLY BOOKED: CultureTrip POP AIR: Balloon Museum

Experience the interactive art exhibition “POP AIR”, a unique opportunity to see art from a new perspective.

“POP AIR” at the Balloon Museum is the perfect opportunity to experience art in a different way. With 17 impressive installations by international artists, it's all about the creative use of air and materials - to marvel at, discover and participate in. Here you can not only look at the art, but also interact with it directly. And for those who like to take photos: There are plenty of cool corners for great shots.

  • Binding registration for the event is only possible for students from our partner universities. Registration for this CultureTrip is possible from April 15. 2025

Hinweis:

  • The Balloon Museum is barrier-free.
  • Some artworks (Never Ending Story, Hypercosmo and Aria - The Breath Immersive Experience) are not recommended for people with epilepsy, balance disorders or hearing problems, as strobe lights, images and sounds can alter sensory sensitivity.

  • However, access to the museum is at the discretion of the individual. If necessary, it may be possible to take an alternative route to avoid the facilities that could cause problems. Access to the POLYHEADRA art installation is prohibited for wearers of electrical stimulators (pacemakers) due to the presence of magnets. The balloons are made of liquid rubber latex; if you are allergic to latex, please inform our staff.

The Kulturwerk Berlin of studierendenWERK BERLIN regularly organises a variety of excursions and tours for students during the lecture period. These activities are a great opportunity to discover new things together with other students at low cost and to socialise in the process. You can find all excursions in our event calendar under the tag ‘Ausflug.’  The conditions of participation are automatically accepted upon participation.
