OPEN STAGE Fete de la musique - Call until May 16th

This call goes to everyone who wants to be on stage! As part of the Fête de la musique we want to put together a diverse program for our open air stage on the Steinplatz, live acts of all genres are welcome!

The only requirement is that you are students at one of our partner universities! For bands, this must apply to at least half of the musicians!

In interest of a diverse program, the Kulturwerk will select acts from all applications that can perform on the student stage. For this purpose, we ask all applicants to include a short audio or video sample or a Youtube link with their application. Please note that time slots are limited. We would like to give as many students as possible the chance to perform, and in this interest we reserve the right to give preference to applicants with a shorter stage time.

 Endlich geht es wieder raus zum gemeinsamen Musikerlebnis: Nach zwei Jahren als Online-Festival plant die Fête de la Musique in Berlin wieder mit einer Vielzahl an Musikorten in der ganzen Stadt, zu denen das Publikum bei freiem Eintritt kommen und Musik wieder in Gemeinschaft erleben kann. [...] So wird man am 21. Juni 2022 an über 80 Orten in der ganzen Stadt den Sommer begrüßen: inklusiv, divers, friedlich, freundschaftlich, offen für alle musikalischen Stile, für Profis ebenso wie für Anfänger:innen an ihren Instrumenten. Und damit feiert die Fête de la Musique gemeinsam mit vielen anderen Städten auf der Welt das 40. Jubiläum der Veranstaltung, die 1982 zum ersten Mal in Frankreich stattfand.
