„Stand“ from Lili Theilen

Parallel Speeds

Group exhibition of 6 artistic positions of the Weißensee School of Art Berlin - accompanied by Linda Naber as inclusion officer.

"At what speed do we build sandcastles? In which boots do I walk slowly? Can I run faster than a bug flies? We move in parallel - always keeping an eye on the others."

Six artistic positions use the KUNSTRAUM Potsdamer Straße as a research area under the motto and title "Parallel Speeds". A queer-feminist perspective on the interplay of speed and deceleration in everyday situations. The exhibition shows an attempt to give the works the appropriate speed or to deprive them of it. The media of sculpture, drawing and painting enter into a dialogue.
