The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)

Within an hour and a half, the theater group Bühne Frei! condenses all of the English genius' plays into sketches, songs, poetry slams, cooking shows and soccer matches. Swords are brandished, heads are rolled, abusers are flicked, and they tour forwards, backwards and faster than ever before through 39 plays and 154 sonnets. With a lot of humor, passion and speed, the student theater group stages a parody, a comedy, but above all a declaration of love to classical theater. The play, which has been performed very successfully around the world as a three-person play since 1987, has been praised as a “fast-paced comedy classic” and has been an integral part of British theater ever since.
