Berlin universities regularly offer events for prospective students. These events provide valuable information about studying – from degree programs and application procedures to campus life.

The events are not only intended for future students of the hosting university but are often open to everyone. We recommend attending events not only at your preferred university but also exploring those offered by other Berlin universities – you might gain interesting and helpful insights!

FU Berlin – "Uni im Gespräch" – Orientation Program EinS@FU

The General Academic Advising team will provide information about *EinS@FU*, an orientation year that allows you to explore the wide range of subjects offered at FU Berlin. During this year, you can try out different study programs and exams without commitment, while receiving support and guidance from student and faculty mentors.

Match deinen Master- Your Master's Information Day at HTW Berlin, May 21, 2025

You want to pursue a Master's degree but aren’t sure which one to choose? You’re still thinking about whether to continue with a Master's or jump directly into the workforce? You want to know if your Bachelor's degree fits a Master's program or if HTW Berlin is the right place for you? At our event "Match Your Master!" with an accompanying Q&A session, we aim to answer all your questions. Each Master's program will have its own breakout room, where it will introduce itself and address any remaining questions you might have.

When and Where?

Our Master's Information Day "Match Your Master" takes place annually via Zoom. The next one will be on May 21, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

Study Information Days, June 2–5, 2025

40 Bachelor's degree programs, all in Berlin. But you want more: You want to find a program that fits your interests and goals. Save the Date: Next Study Information Days, June 2–5, 2025

Our next Study Information Days will be held online for three days (June 2–4) and in person for one day (June 5).

Come visit us on campus! On Thursday, June 5, we’ll open the doors at both of our campus locations.

You can look forward to campus tours, insights into our labs and workshops, experiments, discussions with students and professors, and the chance to sit in on a real lecture.

Local Registration Office at HU’s main building

At the beginning of your stay in Berlin, you must officially register yourself and your new address at the Local Registration Office. You have rent a room in a student hall of residence or a shared flat, an apartment or are staying with friends or acquaintances. With this address, you register with the Bürgeramt as an official citizen of the city of Berlin. You can do this conveniently at the International Service Centre in the main building of the HU. The Local Registration Office is with us on the following days:
