How does studying at BHT work? What can you expect? How large are the lectures? Who do you give your excuse to if you miss a class – are you even allowed to miss one?
The Central Student Advisory Service will give you an insight into what it's like to study at BHT.

You want to pursue a Master's degree but aren’t sure which one to choose? You’re still thinking about whether to continue with a Master's or jump directly into the workforce? You want to know if your Bachelor's degree fits a Master's program or if HTW Berlin is the right place for you? At our event "Match Your Master!" with an accompanying Q&A session, we aim to answer all your questions. Each Master's program will have its own breakout room, where it will introduce itself and address any remaining questions you might have.

Our Master's Information Day "Match Your Master" takes place annually via Zoom. The next one will be on May 21, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

Our next Study Information Days will be held online for three days (June 2–4) and in person for one day (June 5).
Come visit us on campus! On Thursday, June 5, we’ll open the doors at both of our campus locations.
You can look forward to campus tours, insights into our labs and workshops, experiments, discussions with students and professors, and the chance to sit in on a real lecture.

Local Registration Office at HU’s main building
At the beginning of your stay in Berlin, you must officially register yourself and your new address at the Local Registration Office. You have rent a room in a student hall of residence or a shared flat, an apartment or are staying with friends or acquaintances. With this address, you register with the Bürgeramt as an official citizen of the city of Berlin. You can do this conveniently at the International Service Centre in the main building of the HU. The Local Registration Office is with us on the following days:

International students will learn about the essentials helping to have a good start at our university and the city of Berlin - from German bureaucracy to networking opportunities to the best lunch around campus. The event offered by the International Degree-Seeking Students Team aims in particular at newly enrolled international degree-seeking students who cannot attend the introductory event in person. All other international students are of course also very welcome to join!
